Here’s what to expect from this episode:

Thinking about starting a podcast but worried there's too much competition out there? Think again! While there are a TON of existing podcasts, there aren't as many active ones as you think. And when you do your research and find your niche? That's where the magical podcast gap is.

In today's super fun episode, I chat with STEM teacher (and Prep School student) Naomi Meredith about how she found her gap and started The Elementary STEM Coach, a podcast for STEM teachers. She's here to tell us all about how things are going for her and the success she's seen so far (and she only launched in July!).

We also chat about how she's kept the momentum going with her show, incorporating her YouTube channel into her podcast, hiring a podcast manager, balancing podcasting with being in the classroom, and more.

I'm so excited to share this episode with Naomi with you because it felt like talking to a friend I've known for years (and we'd never talked face to face before!). Ready to meet Naomi? You're gonna love her.

Meet Naomi:

Naomi Meredith is a former classroom teacher turned current K-5 STEM teacher and coach in Colorado. Her role not only includes teaching over 500 students in her school but also leading professional development and co-teaching with teachers to help them integrate STEM & Technology. She also manages the school-wide tech tools to help them run efficiently. She loves inspiring her students further by hosting after-school clubs and collaborating on district-wide STEM events.

With over a decade of experience along with an M.Ed. in STEM Leadership and STEM Certificate, she helps teachers in her school and worldwide to navigate best practices, strategies, and tools out there. When Naomi isn't traveling or hanging out with her little pup, she's obsessed with researching and creating resources to help you navigate STEM & Tech in your classroom. Of course, with an added bit of style!

Whether you teach STEM as a specials class or as a teacher who loves implementing innovative practices, Naomi is here to help! She truly believes that any teacher out there can learn how to use STEM & Technology in their classrooms effectively. She can’t wait to connect with you and be your guide!
