Here’s what to expect from this episode:

I always say there’s no rules in podcasting. BUT, there may be an exception. Show notes!

Show notes are something that I consider a “must-have” if you are a podcaster.

There’s several different ways to create show notes, but first let’s understand why you need them. Here’s a few of my top reasons:

  1. Show notes drive people to your website from your episode description. This can help you capture email addresses from your listeners, plus they can learn more about you and your offerings.

  2. They increases your searchability online if you are creating them with SEO in mind.

  3. Depending on how you write your show notes, it can make your content more accessible if you include things like a transcript.

  4. Show notes pages act as a “homebase” for your website so that you can link back to your content on platforms such as Pinterest.

Don’t forget! I’m doing a giveaway to celebrate reaching 50 episodes of this podcast.

Here's how to play/enter:

1. Download (or screenshot) this BINGO board.

3. To enter the giveaway, add the BINGO board to your IG stories, mark off the 3 completed tasks, and tag me @podcastingforeducators.
