Here’s what to expect from this episode:
Should you have guests on your show? People love being guests on podcasts. It’s free exposure for them, and it can add value to your content. In the next two episodes, I am going to cover everything from setting up a scheduling process, to recording the interview, to following up when your interview goes live. If you’ve never had a guest on your show before, these episodes will prepare you to take that step.
I get questions all the time from podcasts hosts about having guests on their shows. Some of the questions include: Where do you find good guests? Is there a process to follow? How should I schedule my interviews? As a solo host, you may feel overwhelmed with the booking process or the technical aspects of having a guest on your show. Like other aspects of podcasting, once you have a streamlined process in place, everything is so much easier.
In today’s episode, I will share how having guests on your show can enhance your content and add value to your listeners. I’ll also share my best tips, tricks, and tools for setting up an automated process that makes booking and communicating with guests easy. You’ll also hear about where to find great guests for your show and why I recommend not just looking for people who have huge audiences. You’ll walk away with short and sweet action steps and be ready to book your first guest or set up a process to make booking your guests way easier.
I’d love to hear from you! If you’re enjoying the show and this podcast or any of the resources I’ve shared have helped you, please let me know by:
