Here’s what to expect from this episode:

Podcast guesting is a largely untapped marketing strategy that is fun and doesn’t take up a lot of time or monetary investment, and it’s a great way to get visibility for your TpT store, or any business! Today I’m interviewing Genevieve Christianson, and we are diving into all things podcast guesting and podcast pitching.

Genevieve is a former non-profit marketing director turned freelancer. She specializes in marketing + content frameworks, email marketing, and podcast pitching. After launching Neon Soul Marketing in 2019, she's worked with a variety of industries including teacher entrepreneurs, coaches, course creators, influencers, and other service providers.

When she's not diving into the latest in visibility strategy for online business owners, she spends most of her time chasing after two kids and a golden retriever, planning mountain vacations with her husband, and enjoying a good Bravo show with a glass of chardonnay.

In this episode, Genevieve will share why podcast guesting is such a good visibility strategy, especially in the teacher entrepreneur world. With so much competition in the TpT space and on Instagram, it can be challenging to find a way to stand out from the crowd. Podcast guesting can really set you apart and establish your authority in your niche.

Podcasts are listened to in almost 80% of American households. From starting your own podcast to simply being a guest on other podcasts, there is so much room for growth in this space. Plus, it’s a low investment, high return strategy.

As a podcast guest, there’s not a whole lot of work on the backend, so it doesn't have to be an overwhelming process for you. You can start small and still see your audience grow organically. It’s a great way to get your voice, products, and business out there. As you see the rewards from that, you can really amp up your pitching from there.

By the end of this episode, you’ll have some practical action steps you can take to increase your visibility through podcast guesting, and you’ll be ready to start pitching podcast hosts.

  • How to provide real value and create organic connections through podcast guesting
