Here’s what to expect from this episode:

Creating a binge worthy podcast all starts with your content planning. What should you talk about?

What do people want?

What do they need?

This takes some thought, intention, and a lot of trial and error to get it right. When you're able to sit down and plan out content ahead of time, it gives you the time to dive into some cold, hard facts and data to really plan out episodes that you know will for sure resonate with your audience and meet their needs.

The answers to your questions about what your next episode topic should be is literally right in front of you. You just need to look at it.

Sometimes, and I'm guilty of this too, we make things a lot harder than it needs to be! Take advantage of the tools you have so that you aren’t just guessing what your listeners want you to talk about on your show.

If you are someone who often sits down to record your episodes or plan out your episodes, and you are struggling to figure out what you should actually talk about, then today's episode is going to be really helpful for you.

I am going to give you five places to go to get endless amounts of episode topics:

  1. Your podcast downloads data

  2. Your most purchased TPT resources and highest traffic blog posts

  3. Keyword research

  4. Your audience!

  5. Facebook groups - market research for the win!

Pick one or two of these ideas and implement them this week! Document the ideas that you come up with by writing them down or putting them into your project management tool.

Then, tune into episode 47 to learn how to take these ideas and plug them into your content calendar!
